  • defining the scope, cost and timeline of deliverables at the outset of an engagement;
  • a strong focus on regular, clear communication with the client to ensure that project work is in alignment with their expectations, and that changes in cost, schedule or scope are identified ASAP; and
  • being responsive and flexible to changes in project scope, priorities, leadership, timelines, etc. to support a client’s changing internal and external environment.

HJC Consulting can engage with its clients via:

  • a variable casual rate reflected in end-of-month invoices (up-front payment applies to initial engagement);
  • a fixed rate; or
  • a retainer rate with a pre-paid retainer fee, offering more economical rates.
